    ...anything about this game!

    My 4 RB's.

I brought 4 in with the hopes that one would have made it out without ratings drop. Instead, they all dove hard. They're not really old, so I don't get this. New game is very strange to the point where you plug one leak and a new one springs up out of nowhere.

Can you simply not stack a team in this version? GAWL!

Haha! Yeah, players can drop pretty early -- and sometimes, it's random, as opposed to age decline. The early drops seem especially prone to happen to RBs.

On the other hand, old players can hang on to their ratings for quite a while. Even very old players. But it's not true in all cases; while some old players do stay strong, others drop off precipitously. Which makes for some interesting decisions and weighing of risk versus reward...

I love seeing people fail with Gerhardt. Dude was meant to replace Salinger but didn't come close.

RBs are the worst. Jim really upped their death rate.

Post Duckworth I've just been plugging in value scrubs at RB.

For the second straight season my starter will be a decent undrafted RB with low endurance.

Well, I'm going on a limb here but maybe poor RB ratings after camp can be related to a poor OLine? IG: not enough blocking in practice makes them
            Underperform.

            Or maybe I'm overthinking this.

Probably not, but you never know!

We have to start to think in the life after Grauman :(

I'd say this makes for a good story, but I have serious doubts the game works this way. It is almost assuredly simply die rolls. Nemesis got hit with bad luck.

It just seems highly unlikely for 4 die rolls to go wrong in a row, unless it's a high chance like 5/6ths...

                      B. Gearhart is 29 so it's not all that surprising. A couple of the others are 28. I'm sure RBs are programmed to die sooner on average now.

It's probably still a little unlikely to happen, but probably not as unlikely as we think.

RBs don't run Fly routes anyway, so I don't know why you're bitching anyway Nem.

Alex, I don't know how long you've been playing this game, but I'm trying to tell you the answer is almost always going to be dice rolls.

As Foos points out, the RBs weren't spring chickens, which means all four of the dice rolls probably had a 50/50 chance. Or worse, or better. Hard to know.

There's not too many Star RNs or very good ball horses beyond 30s in the NFL right now... I feel very happy and proud with Grauman, almost kept his ratings (-2/-2) despite this is his 10th season and he is been pounding the rock as a ball horse his whole career in Ohio...

It's a statistics thing. While anything is possible because of randomness (example: landing heads 200 times in a row), even failing 4 at 50/50 only has a 6.25% chance.
