Well, we are very happy with WR Shane Lake 48/71 and see him as a huge part of this team if we are to turn this team around and become contenders. We also feel we have improved K with 5th rd pick Clarence Morris 51/69 with high accuracy bar. He could be the difference maker on a tight game late in the 4th. Then the guy that has shocked our coaches is FA Rookie WR Diego Casey 30/47 with some good looking bars. Do wish his BPR was little higher than 37 but I see us extending his contract before season is over and him being a VG 3rd or 4th receiver.

Preseason game 1. I was happy with performance of our starters against Waco, granted by looking at final score we were crushed but with our starters in we led 14-0, once they came out final score 44/14 but we was playing the world champs. So we are gambling that starters stay healthy for the most part and we see some wins this year.

Portland draft was a bit of a write off but was really centered around the acquisition of LB Petit for a first round pick. I feel the roster is slowly getting stronger every year so happy with the progression so far.

QB Ciszek surprised me though, guy looks like he has potential to be the GOAT

Following Ex2, our first two picks look like a success:

We had hoped QB Austin Lang (New Orleans @ 1.23) would be available at 1.32. In retrospect, we should have been more aggressive in trying to move up in the draft to get him.

We ended up taking C Myron O'Donnell now shows 30/77. He still looks very raw but he should someday take over the starting C job from veteran Bob Rivera.

Our 2nd round pick DE Reginald "Ledoux" Brandon held at 35/48 and looks like he has the skills to get after the quarterback. It looks like all that unorthodox off-season training in the woods is starting to payoff.

Oh my, Austin Lang is looking like a nice late 1st QB.

North Liberty's CB Jaylen Thompson. That one hurts. Augustine's a fine receiver for us, though.

Does anyone know how why the player tracker won't update with the Ex2 changes? It still has ratings from before Ex2 but keeps telling me that I already updated with this weeks changes.

Did you export the stats from the game? Sounds like you didn't.

I thought I did but maybe not.

Either way our 6th round pick Rico Jacke, looks to have the chops to be the run stopping DE I wanted on the right side of the defense. Looks like he's gone up +8/+28 according to the league scout (+5/+8 according to our scout).

Have to export personal scouting data as well. I'm not sure how the player tracker works, but you might need to wait until the next sim if it's unwilling to override data it already has.

                    Yea that was my thought.

Also not related to the draft, but 6th year All-Pro receiver Ryder Sheldon has suddenly jumped BACK to a 62/62 after 3 years at ~52/52?

                    WTH is really going on?

Could be scouting error, and could be volatility. Players can bounce around like that, although I'd say a mid-career surge is less common than falling off the map. If it's a case of going right back to what his original bars were, it might just be scouting error that unfairly knocked him down for a couple of years, although that's just a hunch. Hunches are all I have with how this all works ;)

                      That's pretty neat (for you)!

I had my doubts with his level of play.

Interesting that my scouting team and the league scout saw the same decline and the same jump back up simultaneously.

So far he looks really good. In 5 years, we'll see how things have worked out.
