Doesn't the real reveal take years now. I thought from what Ben said with the under 40 it can be 3 years for some guys, up to 5 for others.

Depends how you define "the reveal". You can still get a good indication in the 1st pre-season. There are definitely a certain number of exceptions, I wouldn't take anything definitive. But if your guy drops 10 future points this pre-season it is a very bad sign.

Why not run pre-season wks 1&2 in the same sim? That way every team gets one game in and we see the reveal a little sooner?

I like that idea but if a owner had to play preseason 1 and 2 both and a player gets injured game 1, that might cause a issue. Unsure but if it was my team I'd just have Aston sub a guy for me preseason 2

I don't think a team ever plays both. I thought that the teams that play in Ex 1 sit out Ex 2 and vice versa.

Not all the time. SOMETIMES, a team plays Ex1 AND Ex2 and has Ex3 off.

Yeah, annoyingly, some teams will play both Ex1 and Ex2 -- and it doesn't happen every year. Just wait to unwrap your gifts

It was really hard for me to cut down to 60 at this sim. I hope I made the right choice.

I always try to fill up via rookies to 70 -- if only to develop a few extra guys that I like and might need to sign again during the season.

I never thought about it this way. The only downside is that you could potentially be developing those players for your competition to sign later on during the season.

I am going to try this strategy with my IHOF team.

We would all have a hard time cutting down to 60 if we drafted as well as you do chuck. Meanwhile, I traded up into the 2nd to draft RB Sawyer Durham who currently shows 17/24. Man I suck at drafting RBs.

Me too, man. I drafted one guy in Round 2 in FOFL with no hole recognition that obliterated people for some reason. Other than that my only big hit was a guy I drafted Top 5.
