Even before the combine change, I had set up a draft file. I put 1,000 WRs in there, all the same ratings (about 80/80). Some ratings I can't fix but I did fix getting the important ones like getting downfield, big play, etc.
So the low end of the combines was as follows:
4.72 dash
12 sol
8 strength
7.45 agility
30 pspec
If you don't say WTF to that, then you don't realize the implications. Yes, a stud WR can have green combines. And I am not talking bomber "studs" here.

Some other observations about this class in general. But before that: I think it is important to keep in mind that I have pretty insane scouts. And yes scouts are important - with these insane scouts I always see the bars on these studs as studly. I might see them as about 60 rated in the worst case as opposed to 80 and this is a rare case.
-The lowest adjusted grade was 4.9. Again, this is likely inflated by the bars with the poor combines bringing it down.
-The guy with the lowest adjusted grade had combines of 4.6, 15, 11, 7.16, 48
-A decent number skip the combine.
-The vast majority have blue combines or better. A good number have what you would normally see with can't miss studs: nice reds across the board.
-The guys with green combines are less prevalent. None of them had greens across the board. Only 6 out of 1000 had green dash, for example.
This is the important point for me and see if you can see where I am going with it:
-The red combine guys tended to have reds across the board.
-The blue combine guys tended to have blues across the board
-The black combine guys tended to have blacks
Remember they are all the same player and the important bars are exactly the same.

So, a "spot violation" -- one or two randomly bad combines on a player who should have had better ones -- is more likely than an entire "bad day at the office" where a stud player gets a die roll such that he's got greens everywhere?Float likeabutterflysting likeabee.

Also, can someone explain to me how to set up a draft like this, so I could do my own testing? Thanks!Anchorage Gladiators - 2038 Wk10 - Present

What do I take from that? Static bars as a draft indicator are not dead by a long shot. Discuss amongst yourself.

If you want to go nuts, I found the draft file app in:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Front Office Football Seven
I do not know if it will be in the same directory as you. There is a draftfile help document I found in there and that is how I figured it out.
