Been in the league 8 or 9 seasons now and it is still hard for me to readjust to the rating scale in this game. When you put it that way, my draft doesn't seem so bad.

40 is an average overall for the league. However you can have role players with the bars where it matters (i.e. 80 PRT / 60 PRS for Dime situations, or 75 3rd down catch and 60Courage for 3rd and shorts) and lower ratings who will be key contributors in your team.

          A 45/45 player is a win. Unless it's a 1st rounder, haha.

I am very happy with my 1st round picks. We also have several players ranked in 40's we are hoping a few of them pop. If so we had a Excellent draft and gained a future 1st rd pick to hopefully make team even stronger in future.
Thanks. Hopefully, he sticks to being a stud and stays healthy.. lately I had bad luck with my RBs.

Did get a generous rating for my second round CB Ike Rivers rated in the 70's and a bunch of my other picks seems to be rated pretty good so far doubt it sticks but it's already better than last year where everyone I drafted SUCKED.

Check out my trade block for some decent RBs/Defenders for sale!

16/54 is my early showing of him.

My 2nd round RB who I expect will bust is showing +50 potential. Keeping my fingers crossed that he turns out as well as the 2nd round RB I drafted in FOFL that tore shit up.

                      First results:

                      1 - 28 Diego Mathis WR, 45/61 to 48/62
                      3 - 20 George Harvey DT, 30/57 to 36/59
                      3 - 28 A.J. Burns DE, 17/45 to 21/46
                      4 - 25 Tyler Schofer QB, 12/38 to 14/38
                      5 - 28 Ricky Forbes CB, 15/39 to 18/35
                      6 - 28 Francisco Compton S, 9/40 to 12/40
                      6 - 30 Gregory Ward DE, 21/42 to 25/43
                      7 - 28 Carlos Gunn TE (from FB), 17/44 to 22/46
                      7 - 32 Renaldo Bologna DT, 13/38 to 17/36

                      Undrafted

                      OLB Adams 31/32 to 24/33
ILB Tyler Denis 20/38 to 23/38

I know the next stage means more but so far I am happy. My disappointment so far is not being able to land a starting CB but I will keep looking.

Looks like a simply incredible draft for us at first glance.

The only unfortunate piece of news is Dustin Terry's murderous TC. It looks like a vol drop to me but who knows. Anyways, in addition to my other needs I also need a FS now.

Quite satisfied with the last 2 off seasons in Yuma. We've made huge strides toward having a legit offense in the near future, just need time for this offensive line to come together.

                            4 - 25 Tyler Schofer QB, 12/38 to 12/31
                            5 - 28 Ricky Forbes CB released

                            6 - 30 Gregory Ward DE, 21/42 to 25/45
                            7 - 28 Carlos Gunn TE (from FB), 17/44 to 22/49
                            7 - 32 Renaldo Bologna DT released

                            Undrafted

                            OLB Adams 31/32 to 24/36
ILB Tyler Denis 20/38 to 23/40

Got my stud WR late in the 1st and then picked up a stud DT in the 3rd. Some nice DE depth. Then got a backup TE at 7.28.

Trading for George Lang also helped me slip into a 100 roster rating. It has been a long time since I had a team with 100. It is nice to be back.

1.25 - C Brandon Webb - 40/62 - Webb ended up being decent, but we were hoping for a bump instead of just staying steady. Could have waited on a OL and went with the DT Squiric or the DE Lofton, which we almost did. This is a case of not quite going BPA, but the amount of impact Webb should have compared to those 2 is probably enough to make it a wash.

2.3 - RT Cory Routt - 26/61 - Routt turned out solid, will probably play G this year and eventually move there permanently. He's a run blocking stud, the kind of guy I always fall in love with. This years imminent growing pains will be worth it if he develops into a 10 pancake type of guy on the interior.

2.25 - CB Rico Greer - 27/65 - I almost got upset that I passed on Plackemeier in the first when he didn't fall into the second as I had hoped, but Greer ended up being a great pickup in the late 2nd. Huge for a team that has struggled at CB for a couple years now. Greer is my type of guy all the way, very excited to get him.

3.25 - Chris Reblin - 11/56 - The man is as raw as an untouched photograph, but he looks like he will be our starter at RT. He's got a lot of technique and not a lot of strength, but on the right side he just needs to be steady. Looks like he will be that. I was absolutely pissed to see sleeper C Charles Wallace go shortly afterwards, as he was second on my list to Reblin and I had a feeling he would be good. Aston was picking guys a round ahead of my anticipated draft slot the whole draft. That was my 4th rounder, you bastard!!!

4.4 - RB Preston Kemoeatu - 30/39 - I had higher hopes for this guy, but he is going to end up being about the same player as my prior backup RB Grillot. Solid enough, but I hate high elusiveness bars on average backs. Seems to make them too hit or miss to be worth rostering sometimes.

6.25 - QB Kaden Barton - 5/28 - I could have spent this pick better by just giving it to someone else. Barton came into camp and failed to impress at all and we later discovered he likes to spend his free time injecting synthol into his balls. No time for that shit on this team.

7.25 - S Sergio Lester - 29/41 - Could have done worse than this on my last pick, but I was searching the draft list for WR Will Bonnette and didn't find him. My time was running out on the clock, so I went with Lester only to find out Bonnette was still available and guess who got him.

Ultimately it was a really good draft, but we could have done a couple things different and had an absolutely incredible draft. Still quite satisfied and I think this team is ready to make noise.. as soon as we find a QB.

In fact, I have a 2nd round pick for anyone who has a decent youngish QB to trade me.

                                Oof, lucky break :-)

You can always type the player's name (have to start with the first name) into Quick Add in the priority queue. It'll autocomplete but does exact matching only.
