Nah. You are the only one who has to if we want to see the effects of the update. Whether one or all of us does is irrelevant, as long as you do.

- We will see the visual/cosmetic effects of the update (combine numbers, less scout error) ONLY if we update on our personal machines.
- We will see the effects of the under-the-hood stuff (defenses used better, for example) ONLY if the commish updates. The commish machine impacts the sims that are run.
- We can submit a 6.0e export, and it will work on 6.1 (if this works like in the past).

Hey Skydog,
Do you know if the double team has been fixed, I've got a game coming up in my other league that this is necessary to know.

Maybe I fucked something up, but the picture files seem to be messed up (OSFL Logo on the player info screens for draftees, no team logos on player screens, etc).
I downloaded the Universe files, thinking that was it, but it wasn't.
What did I do wrong? :(

Ok, I have some beef with this patch.
Prior to patching, I intended to renegotiate Martin Cothran's contract this sim and he demanded a contract worth $44M over 5 years. Now that I've patched, Cothran suddenly wants $51M over 5 years.
I guess it's just too late now and I'm screwed out of the money? Imho, it's kind of ridiculous to make this change in week 6 of the offseason, when teams have already figured out their available cap space and are still in the process of renegotiating players and signing free agents. And the fact that it's undocumented in the patch notes is even more frustrating.
I'd really like to see tonight's sim delayed and this patch rolled back until after the offseason or following the draft. It's really not fair to do this now if it affects player contract demands.Last edited by Dave; 09-20-2007, 06:55 PM.SIN CITY GAMBLERS since 1990
