Chicago must be working the phones though, I really don't think there's anyone worth trading up to the 2nd pick.

I feel the same way. There are a couple of guys I like up there but not at the price it will cost to get them.

Pick is in. I couldn't have been in a worse position. We need offense terribly, but there's nobody but Rico Whalen that deserves to be picked this high on offense.

So we took best available. Our Scout says that Scott will be an absolute stud, even though we have some decent young guys at DT this guy should be a beast. Combined with Ellard and Sanford this should give our D-Line a very bright future.

We'll just have to look offense later.

Good pick Jistic. I thought Scott was the 2nd best player in the draft. You couldnt go wrong with him. On another note, werent you the one giving Mel Kiper analysis during the draft last year. Can we look forward to that this year?

Yeah that was me, but I'll have to give analysis later. Gotta full house here for football and since the Bears play tonight we'll be here all night! Wanted to make sure I got my pick in though so I wasn't holding up the draft.

It really is unfortunate ... we are very lucky to have a draft utility with the ability to set a preference list with tons of options, and we are only at the 5th pick of the draft after 5 hours. I just don't get it...

You have to cut people some slack though with the draft util not being available until this morning. Once everyone gets a chance to look at it, things will pick up.

Yeah, I guess you are right, BUT it's not like no one knew the draft was starting this morning at 10:00 AM...

Well I've been through 4 drafts, which probably is fewer than most and I understand its football Sunday, but working/school through the week is harder for me to keep up than right now.
