I feel bad that you lost Slade in the preseason. In another league I lost my stud DT for the season. Hated that feeling.

The thing about it that sucks, is this off-season I lost my starting RB to retirement. So I planned on becoming more of a passing offense this year, and then Slade went down. Now I have a trio of average runningbacks, average WRs, and a rookie and second year guy at QB.

Our defense will be key this week, if we can slow down and play solid D and force a few 3-and-outs or turnovers, I think we can outscore Vegas. Its going to be hard, but our secondary and pass rush will hopefully allow us to cause enough problems to give us our first win in almost 2 full seasons against the Outlaws.

The heat of the desert will be cold in comparison to the heat of the war on the field.

I don't expect to win this one. I got pretty banged up in the preseason, we have about 6 starters that are either injured or playing injured.
