gg s maryland. my defense was doninate. don't know if it was my defense that was good or your offense that was bad. my o-line needs some help averaged less than 3 yards per carry and gave up too many sacks.

Those are my arguments. But you are right, Sully. We all have to deal with it.
My fault. The game still is buggy in certain late game scenarios. Just something we have to deal with.

Well, I can't say I am surprised. Portland loses 17-7 to Anchorage. Anchorage played poorly (penalties, missed FGs, etc.), and gave me every chance to win this game. Good game Kingfc.

Oh, word to the entire OSFL, do not throw to Leo Duffy. He two picks in his debut.

Big win on the road for the Gaels. QB Reese threw for 4 TDs and Inoue caught 2 of them. The offense put up 34 points and the offensive line looked great except for penalties. Lets go to Phoenix.

WE GOT EMBARRASSED IN CHITOWN!!! When we thought pass, they ran and vice versa. So much for using the computer's gameplanning prowess..

A good start to the season for us, except for the injuries. The one to Tyrus hurts particularly bad :( Oh well, at least I'll get to develop our linebacker depth a bit more. Probably the one area where I can afford to lose a star for a few weeks.

frustrating loss for the Destroyers.... We out gained San Fransisco, and seemed to play pretty well... just couldn't make the best of things. Penalties killed my team, including a called back 27 yard TD pass... Worst off I lost my starting LT who is very highly rated for 10 weeks.

Congrats San Fran... I think Whalen will be a star very soon.

We're very happy with our game against the North Liberty "Insert Nickname Here" Enforcers.

Defense picked up where the they left off in the pre-season, that was good to see. The running game was very good, and Kaplan showed some maturity and efficiency against a very tough defense.

One thing that might seem small, but is pretty big for us is we may have found a kicker in rookie free agent Clarence Worley. He was terrific in the pre-season and hasn't skipped a beat. Our veteran last year was an adventure every kick.

Overall this was a very workman like, professional win. The turnovers no doubt put NL in a hole, but we capitalized nicely. We seem like our young team may be growing up, but we'll see over time. The one thing I didn't like that I saw last year is penalty mania. Gotta clean that up.

Anyway, after last season, it's just nice to get a win.

Kenneth Clements likes having a QB... opens the season with the new Motor City offense with a 189 total yards and 3 TD performance. Good division win.

Wow I really didn't expect a win coming into this one against division foe Yuma especially considering the injuries I have at WR and other positions, I'm pretty shocked. My defense played pretty tough though forcing fumbles, getting to the QB and even recording a safety. So that makes me 4-1 vs Yuma all-time ... till next time!

Penalties did kill you and also the fact that your team couldn't stop the run. Every time you completed a long pass holding was called. We were the 2 lowest rated teams and that may be my only win of the year.

yeah you gashed me with the run... especially the 80 yarder Belt ripped off for the TD.

Amen. That's pretty much where I've been for a while. I love the game, warts and all, and when things happen that make me scratch my head, I just try to remember that I'm roleplaying a GM and not a coach and sometimes the coaches you hire do stupid stuff. It's Front Office Football and not Sideline Coach Football and I need to remember that sometimes. :)

And Lucky looked real strong this week. And the pash rush was blistering. And very few dumb penalties like last season. Keep it rollin', Bees.

We fumbled last year, a lot, and we allowed sacks last year, a lot. We didn't do either in preseason, but man, comes opening game and Denver smacks us in the mouth and what do we do? We revert to last year and fumble, allow sacks, and throw interceptions. Add to that allowing a ton of rushing yardage. . .the rebuilding process continues. . .damn.

GG Denver. . .your team deserved it and was the better team. . .
