OSFL 2010 Draft Discussion

I'm totally confident that unofficially starting the draft and allowing people to post unofficial, yet official, picks and trades on the forums is going to work out really well with no problems. Let's get drafting!

I don't even know who is picking 2nd or 3rd. I just know that Nori is heading to Alaska. I bet he's excited!

I talked to GG and he appears to be locked in on who he wants (I asked about trading up)... but I have no idea who it is.

Love the idea. I do wish the clock went untimed until Saturday, but unofficial is just official.

I think starting on Saturday is best. It would suck if somebody was out of town for the weekend and not expecting their pick to come up until Sunday, then all of a sudden they were on the clock at 10am on Saturday because everyone else picked ahead of them.

Not to beat a dead horse, if they are away for the weekend, that would happen whether we started picking today or if run through the first 15-20 picks early Saturday morning. Also, so this doesn't turn into something that it isn't, let me reiterate the fact that I have no problem seeing you guys start on Saturday(I don't have a pick until late in the 2nd round, anyway).

I think Andrew's point is valid.... WITH the caveot of... no one should ASSUME their pick won't come till Sunday since picks tend to come in bunches.

I'm very anxious for the draft to start. There is only 1 player I want and I know that I'll have to move up to get him. Can't wait to see how the draft will unfold dammit. If I don't get this guy, this draft will be a huge disappointment.
