GG Waco, your team took full advantage of a crap defense. Memphis can be claimed winners of whatever you want but this team has to earn it and the defense blew it in week 1. The offense was just as bad in the first half. We got down 28-0 before the team decided to start playing and fell short fighting back for a win.

I felt unhappy about my gameplans going in, because I didn't do what I wanted to do. I pretty much stayed with the norm for Memphis (when I got them anyways) instead of going with the offense I like to run. I will run that from now on. I would rather lose running the offense I have run for years, if I am going to lose.

Once again though, GG to Waco. Good choice on the QB.

Terrible late collapse by my team in a game we should have won.

Gainesville is 2-7 against Columbus alltime and we have never beat them on the road. Even though we lost, my team looked much better than we did in preseason. The D let us down with penalties and giving up too many first downs.

            Port City vs N.O. Stingrays

Great start to an oppurtunistic season...With a last minute switch, PC decided to go with veteran QB Ellis Austin, over the rookie. It ended up being a good desicion, because PC had 4 drives over 60 yards and 3 leading to scores... he was a little sloppy with 2 interceptions, but he went 18-29 for 228.. managed the game nicely for a late free agent pickup. Coach praised the play of rookie undraft free agent Clyde Breaux. He came in as the 4th reciever and made a few huge catch including a 47 yard strike. He ended up with 5 catches for 95 yards leading the team. Another rookie also stepped up.. drafted late in the 7th round Marc Hingins made an impact on Nickel and Dime Situations. He had 4 tackles and an interception ran back for a touchdown that sealed the game.

Overall the Sting Rays played an excellent game we couldnt stop there passing attack, but we did control there running game holding them to only 1 offensive TD even though we gave up over 400 yards of offense.. Turnovers were the key to our victory, and the game winning play was on a sack... Ellis Austin dropped back for PC and was sacked, he fumbled the ball and who do you know but the UDFA Breaux picked up the ball and ran in 77 yards for the TD, a shocking play that won the game for PC......

MVP of the game was Stingrays QB Ellis Wynn, but the PC MVP was UDFA Clyde Breaux who caught 5 passes for 95 yards and had a 77 yard fumble return for a TD.

Good luck on your season N.O. you have a great team and will win alot of games, just watch out for them turnovers they cost you this one..

Yeah, that holding penalty was basically the tide changer. Huge play.

Vegas wins their first one on a Field Goal with 1:06 remaining, despite poor QB play. I'll take it.

Ah-ha!!! I ran the wrong gotdamn offense in Week 1. I ran the offense for one of my other teams from a SP game, which has a QB and OFFENSIVE LINE that's suited for downfield throws. Do not expect the same show as last week..

What a nice way to start the season against OSFL powerhouse Morgantown, winning 27-24 in OT. Should have had the game wrapped up in regulation, but we fumbled on the Maniax 12 keeping it a one score game. And yes, that is Marlon Madison on the Player of the Week chart. I'm pretty happy about everything EXCEPT for scrub first round pick Sedrick Thompson. I hope he's just getting his legs under him because he has been very underwhelming this preseason and now game 1.

UDFA K J.C. Durham was 3-3 FGs, including the 47 yard game winner. I really like this kid.
