Three TD passes of over 35 yards is just brutal. I knew my D was NOT good, but I thought that I had at least figured out the "bend don't break" thing. I thought I had the "keep everything in front of you" philosophy down. Not good.
Can't bitch about the O too much. A few turnovers... but some of that was weather. KC was decent again behind a depleted OLine. Jiz(mopper) was actually really good most of the game.
Nice game from Clyde Oliva wasted.
Jusr reread this post and I didn't give Chicago their proper due. They completely shut me down second half. I couldn't do anything.
They thoroughly impressed their stadium of 437 fans.
A lackluster effort for Yuma, but we get our long awaited revenge against our infrequent in state rivals.
Jumbo Clements got the start after I decided he was healthy enough to go, and he was harrassed a bit, but started really well and got us out to a lead that our defense was fortunately able to manage.
GG Tarcone, that team is pesky.
We didnt play very well on offense either.
My new acquisition is game to game and saw no time against Yuma. Even though he is listed as starter and KR. Rivero filled in nicely.
Thanks for the comment. Team is missing a few key parts, but it is getting closer.
Hey I let you get the lead in the first half. Good win for us at home. Sammy Slade ran all over us but we were able to make a few stops when we needed them. Also, It looks like the Gales finally have a PR in Leo Harvey.
2-0! We have already got almost half of our win total from last year.
Pipkin with another nice game: 130 QB rating, 20-23, 192yards, 2tds.
We had 168 yards rushing as well in a win against North Liberty.
Unfortunately we lose Liliedahl for 6 weeks with a knee injury. Hopefully the rookie, Hall can step up and play some good minutes moving forward, until Liliedahl can return.
GG North Liberty.

The Cutters improve to a surprising 2-0 with a 34-17 win in our home opener against New Orleans. Things tightened up in the fourth quarter when the Stingrays cut the deficit to 20-17 with a field goal, but Sean Peterson took the ensuing kickoff 89 yards to the house and Cedric Pint snapped off a 54 yard scamper not even one game minute later to provide the final margin. Martin Cothran threw for a quietly effective 200 yards, Pint averaged over 8 yards on his 11 carries, and former 6th round pick Moe Wolf led the team in tackles and had an INT. Credit is also due to nickel CB Bernie Glendenning, who put aside his recent disgruntled attitude and defended 4 passes yesterday.
The only blemish in an otherwise encouraging game was a broken fibula for starting RT Devin Lofton, who will be out of action for the next seven weeks. But that aside, things are looking up in Camden so far this season. After two games our opportunistic defense has amassed a +8 in turnover differential and our offense is moving the ball through the air and on the ground. It's only two games, but we're better off than I thought we'd be at this point.

After 2 games so far this years PC's defense has given up the fewest points in the League (16). After winning a stunner in week 1, PC's Offense led by Ellis Austin (the games MVP) played an impressive first 16 minutes of football to admass over 170 yards (majority threw the air) and 17 pts. Then the offense went into cruise control as the defense fed from the offense's energy and shut down the brooklyn attack. PC's stingy defense allowed just 131 net passing yards on 16-36 also stealing 1 int. The hitmen however did have success running the ball, but after trailing early they had to rely more and more on the rookie QB's arm. Ellis went 19 for 31 for over 200 yards and also threw 2 td's. The running game of PC was solid led by Wesley's 78 yards (he also caught 6 passes for 52 yards) . The defensive coordinator gave props to the solid play of yet another rookie Oscar Mills.. he had 5 tackles and the only PC sack, he also had a hurry and a knockdown. Also PC number 1 pick l Bradford had another solid game.. he led the team in tackles with 6.
To rap it up the PC's early success has ridden on the talented rookie crew, and this season will go as far as this rookie class can take them.
This is going to be rough going through Nori's growing pains. Going to have to adjust the gameplan a bit because his 5 picks in 2 games is not helping.
Our pass rush was able to disrupt Crosby for most of the game, but we need to get some more sacks out of the D-Line.
WR Zach Hughes needs to step up his game and our O-Line needs to get healthy.
