I think the new (old) Ownership Group in Boston is the best thing that ever happened to Canada. I still prefer Gardner (naturally), but I think this season shows that when a team makes an intentional effort to get him the ball, Canada can put up great numbers. I love this "rivalry" and the ability to track both of their progress.

hey dont know if im beating a dead horse but seing this thread kind of brought up the fumbling thing so ilooked into it a bit deep and it looks like some guys are just fumblers, kind like in real life. so chris gardeners next season should be intresting. and will shumway will keep fumbling *sigh*

i just wish there was some way to know pre draft normally youd look at the college numbers.

lol -- check out QB Francis (68 fumbles in 106 games) -- he makes Kurt Warner look good in terms of fumbling

From all I can figure out, it sure seems like guys can be prone to fumbling... but also it seems to be more common early in their career. With a game to go, Gardner has dropped from 9 to 7 to 3 fumbles in his first three years and he gets TONS of touches. I think as they reach peak talent, that's just the natural relationship.
