Just my opinion but if we are going to upgrade (which I support) it should be done before pre-season.

Oh, and to be clear, you don't need to make people upgrade. Once you upgrade, the league is on 6.3. People can still upload from 6.2 (or 6.1 or 6.1a or 6.0 or 6.0a or 6.0b or 6.0c or 6.0d or 6.0e, for that matter). They'd have to deal with different reneg demands showing up on their screens than the ones required for 6.3, though.

I'm all for going to 6.3 (I'm on it), but it does have a couple significant differences that I've seen/heard of so far.

#1, gameplanning sounds like it's going to be significantly different. Haven't played any SP to test gameplans, but by all accounts - including Jim G. - this is a massive update. Promises/allusions to the fact that LB, OL, S positions, etc., will be more important...

#2, overall the salary differences are probably next to negligible, and especially in a league with the usual 'too much cap space' situation. But, QB demands especially have/will change. Anecdotally, franchise types in WOOF seem to have about doubled their demands.

I say move forward with it, but it doesn't seem like a minor bump.

Also seems to be issues regarding RB's catching WAY to many passes. Although that would only affect those of us who rely on HAL to set gameplans (which is a high number I think).
