McGee appears to be a very distant 2nd to Staat, but it's pretty obvious that RB was the pick for us.

Interesting - what about Newman? Is it volatility/%developed and pos drill? Everything else seems to be in favor of Newman (minus the punt returns). (Feel free to wait til after the draft to answer - was just curious as a novice trying to figure this thing out)

I don't know that anyone's an expert at drafting RBs. I just have zilch. Newman looks great, only two things scared me off, and these are both just personal things -

1, I don't like short RBs. Just based on my past history of drafting, no real number-crunching done.

2, I just drafted an all-world, surefire stud RB in another league - came in at 86/86 pre-TC. Then went -25/-25 in camp. So I'm a bit leery of high volatility guys at the moment.

McGee doesn't thrill me, but it's so hard to tell with RBs. I may even look at a WR convert for him, but I need a RB a lot worse.

This draft feels like the beginning of the end.

Looks like it's about to slow with no one having their lists set to draft...

I have three guys left on my board. Ten picks until I go. Might have to trade out of the 1st.

Kinda rushed my pick and completely missed RJ Delgado.

That dude is going to be crazy.

My scouts had him as very overrated. I considered the pick for quite a while, but decided to go for a surer thing with Foley.

Mmy scouts had him as very underrated - then again, neither of our scouts are great at scouting LBs.

Couple big "masked" bars. Great combine. I bet he'll be at least 75/75, but what do I know.

Don't think you could have gone wrong with either option. You already have a top-flight MLB though and you run a 4-3, and Jamison has nice masked bars for coverage (I think?...) as well as outstanding dash. I think he might be the better OLB. Will be interesting to see how these two guys play out. We'll have to follow this through TC and then you can either celebrate or rip your heart out.

Can the AI teams please be put on auto or BPA? We're currently waiting for Memphis to pick, but we'll be waiting 4 hours unless they can be set to auto.
