  • Waco 10 Phoenix 44

Had to recap this one. 2nd most point scored in franchise history, interesting considering how the game started with 2 3 and outs and a fumble in 9 plays, got a fg and went down 10-3 then the switch flipped ripped off 41 unanswered points. waco assaulted us all day they threw exactly 0 short passes. we got lucky with a blocked punt.

that being said 2/12 on 3rd down, waco did a number on stan morrison and kept grant in check.

    the game had 2 MVPs

Irving Mendheim the totems cast off had himself a game and a half 8/8 catches 112 yds 2 tds.

he was robbed not even a player of the week mention?!?!?!?! what up with that? he hadd better stats than 4 of the other wr mentioned

and Mr efficient LB Ricardo Preston played 6 plays recorded 2 tackles and a sack

bit of a grinder against Frodo and company. im gonna blame it on the weather 55 degrees and 11 mph winds. my guys are getting soft in the dome. 2 fumbles and an int in the slop. Washington held us to only 14 points.

Washington did a good job on Morrison holding him to only 3 catches on 8 targets. we eeked this one out the D saved the day even while resting Walter Vanover with his strained neck. Bernard Kirk picked up the slack tho with 1 sack 3 hurries and 4 knockdowns.

got lucky at the end keeping frodo from activating his leprechaun 4thQ magic we throw an int just short of fg range to make it a 5 point game frodo gets to midfield then stalls.

were happy to be heading home for 2 games hosting LA and Portland. Los Alamos always plays us tough we split last year even with the Dynamic duo in both games

                            • As good as advertised

                              Den 27 Pho 30

in a game that saw Alvin Baker notch his 1st 100 yd rushing performance of his career and the 1st time denver allowed a 100 yd rusher this season. seems like we ran the exact same game plan as most of the stats were very close.

denvers pass rush was effective blitzing almost every down registering 4 sacks and 5 hurries.

i REALLY dont like playing denver the rematch in week 17 will more than likely decide the division at least.

and Randy Boone being back is gonna suck too

back on track surprisingly running the ball very well, 139 yds on 37 attempts. Bernard kirk sets the franchise record for sacks with 17 on the season needs 4.5 more to break the league record with 4 games remaining, its attainable

we wrap up the home stand with las vegas then we finish the season on the road for our final 3 games. were doing everything we can to keep pace with the newly sober boone led bees
