FYI - Through 3 picks... my predictions have been right on.

On Brode.... like him.... think he could be better than Magness, but skipped him for two reasons.... (1) staying away from younger guys this year and (2) the OOTP wives tale about players with an awkward current development never developing properly.
You've heard of someone with the first name Denver? I never have. I thought it named him that from the Denver Bulls.

I think he could be better than Magness too. I don't know who I would've picked if I had the 1st pick.

On your #2...what are you talking about? Not sure what an awkward current development means.

Ah yes Rex Knight... the super freak... as my head scout so dubbed him.

Yah I thought I got rid of most of the glitched ones. That's the only case where I'm still changing names. I'm just trying to catch most of them by having the game regenerate the names before the draft.

(Andrew, can I change his first name? Should we start a name change thread for this year's draft? Or should I just put it in the commissioners to-do post?)

Same here, Magness and Brode were the two best SPs on my board. Not surprised at all to see them go 1,2.

No I was just hoping people would be more interested in OF prospects than pitchers. Not idiots.

I think he's older than Franklin right now! Still, he could be on the fast track.

That was the reason I picked him. I liked that he was older. He'll start in AA and could be in the bigs by next season. He could be my Jeff Franklin.

Excellent pick Clay. He would've been my #1 too.
