To finish this up. I got a message from my bench coach telling me who the player was. The player had the same message as everyone else, so who could tell he was the problem? I traded him for a good leader, and promoted another leader, and the problem has since gone away.
I guess, in this game, you have to carefully watch EVERYTHING. My team has been playing much better since getting rid of this guy. He was my #3 starter, and was playing better than anyone else on the team, with a 1.70 ERA. I hated to trade him, but now that the team, as a whole, is playing better... it was worth it.
Thanks for the advice, Matt.
That's very cool. OOTP 16 really is a huge improvement.

Sounds like something that was always in the game, but now its just visible.

Well there is an strange thing about that. I have one guy who just grabbed the gold globe award at CF. Who is batting over .280 and a +7.1 in fielding outside of his zone. He is an awesome player and one of the best in my team. We are leading our conference with a 57-42 record right now and he is unhappy with himself and with team performance. Everyone else is absolutely ecstatic about how we are playing but him doesn't. .
OK, I click on a player on the roster screen, and I get their profile. When I click on Show Popularity & Morale, it shows the player's popularity nationally and locally, and also the player's morale dependent on different situations, like Team Record, Transactions, Performance, Role on Team, Team Chemistry. While some are unhappy or whatever on differing things, all but the new players to the team are at least unhappy, some very unhappy, on Team Chemistry. And all that are unhappy or worse have the same note at the bottom: He is unhappy/very unhappy due to the disruptive influences on the team.
If I could find out what the disruptive influence is, I could remove it. But I don't know how to find out. I just saw this, so I don't know how long it's been going on.
I have one good leader, that's it. Maybe more leadership will help.
For same note do you mean the sentences about their personality (team leader...cares more about themselves...good guy to have around)? Or do you mean if they have a smiley or angry face for Status?
Broadly speaking guys usually get unhappy when they are losing, when they aren't playing, or when they aren't playing well. It depends on their personality ratings.
Team Chemistry is still a mystery I believe. I try to have some good leaders on the team at different positions (SP, RP, IF, OF) but I'm not sure exactly how it all works. I know it's there though.
My turn. I'm about halfway through the season, and the majority of my players are unhappy or worse Team Chemistry due to disruptive influences on the team. I just noticed on one player, then went through the roster and all but a few players (new guys I either traded for or brought up from the minors) have the same note.
How can I find out which player or players are the disruptive influence(s)?
Not sure if you mean trainers or coaches. Either way, hard to quantify. I usually try to get among the best I can because it's not much more expense than getting average guys.
Yep, is the only thing that I really changed since last year. So I don't know how much it's affecting my team... But we are struggling :(
Another question, how affects the menu with the options, rebuild, normal or Win now! In finances under the space that you set the price? I also changed from Rebuild to Normal...
How much influence have the trainers on the team's performance?? I have better team than in the last two years and we are performing really bad. It's true that I gave preference to the young players but the thing is that actually they are better than the oldies... Can't understand why this is happening! ! Our owner is Angry at the moment and we are 16-26 with play off expectations... :(
