    I stick to my guns.

The only way Virginia is going down is if people let the animal die. Already they are sitting at 19 players and a $99.4m player payroll. I am really interested to see the financial magic they pull off if someone doesn't trade with them. Then in '97 they are at a $93.1m payroll with only 17 players under contract, and will lose two good players, C McCarthy and MR McGinnis to FA. Basically they need/want Doorbell to go.

I don't hate Clay (all though he could gloat less )...I just want him to work for it. He built the Evil Empire after years of suffering but it's time for it to fall.

    Ahh, that clears it up.

You made me the same offer that 3 other teams made for Morgan but with inferior pieces. How is it my fault that your system has no value?

The only person around here who truly, truly hates me enough to NEVER make me an offer is Matt. Everyone else talks a good game... but they put out the feelers.

The Jenkins window is down to a crack anyway. I'm down to exclusive negotiations with one squad. Once that officially falls through, I'm just keeping the band together and claiming my next title. (Yawn)

We got 10 on the list, but the only significant jump was Knudson from 11 (ish) to 3.

Efrain "Gadget" Gray showed up as #12 on our ORG after being like #20. OSA undervalues Relievers, so I'm hoping maybe he's going to get that 3rd pitch. In the meantime.... he's now fully developed in everything but Control (8-8-3) by my scout. He played last season in Single A, before coming up to Double A for the playoffs. I'd say it's about 85% chance that he's in our bullpen on opening day.

Have yet to see an international prospect actually see a ratings increase within my system. They all lose ratings.

Usually, when drafting an IFA, I take their ratings, and cut off 2 points for each rating point.

Well I'm not sure if some guys fell off, but Coates went from 11 to 6 and Vluegel went from 12 to 7.

INTERNATIONAL pitching prospect, Sadahura Katsura, went from 65 to 42. My scout and OSA are starting to love this kid more and more.

My system is barren. I'm okay with that.

It does a re-rank or "reassessment" or whatever you want to call it when we hit the Preseason every year. It then seems to change based (I think) mostly on performance from there. It's the biggest update of the year in terms of how much changes, from what I can tell.

Predictably, Jerry Brown moved back up to #11, Tyler Quinn jumped back into the list at #55. Pretty much all the young guys got the biggest bump.
