Was waiting on Aston to let me know if there is a new owner, but since he hasn't gotten back to me (the slacker!) I forced the pick. Pretty much a no brainer pick, really, and the AI got it right.

He wanted to sign for 3 years glad I did not do that, I think I'll be lucky if he plays the second year with us.

There were really 3 good Guards to choose from, and I didn't know which one to pick. I thought about a T, but I'm still working on making a deal with a couple of teams for a tackle, plus I think the Guards are a bit better than the tackle. Draft analyzer said that Mullaney was better than Peterson, but I couldn't remember what the draft combine settings were for the league. Even at 50%, I have to think that Peterson had a better overall combine.

I also thought about the talks about static bars, and Mullaney definitely has a better static bar, but also a better bench, so they are even as far as I can tell there. I really wanted to take Mullaney, but the combine convinced me otherwise. I'm still learning this, so I have to bet I made a bad choice.
