Statics bars are no longer trustable... Now bars + combine + Interviews. Then you might select the proper player, but not too often :)
So having a great scout + Interview bars in your staff is far more important in this version to nail your picks! If not you will probably shank them!

No need to apologize, strick. Besides, PHO has only just gotten on the clock.

It'd be great if we can get through Round 1 and we have 4 more days for that. If not, we'll finish it Monday and proceed from there. Either way, we'll wrap up around Friday or Saturday :)

Yeah, that was the choice. But the agility was a cusp number, only a couple away from blue. I think I'll be kicking myself for the next 12-15 seasons.

Yes, but is average Tackle > good Guard? That's the question. Myanswer is no.

Depends on how the player is average and how the other player is good.

I prefer to take average tackles and move them to guard for a boost in ratings because I can find average tackles later. Hell, you can also find really good guards later, though rarely studs.

Dammit, I tried moving ahead of my division mates to take RB Bullock.

Aston took CB Mel Ochs with the 19th pick. He interviewed him and got a good report back. I did not interview him and this is how I see him:

I'm mostly curious in how his mediocre Bench score of 13, which tells us little to nothing because it is given to good and bad players alike, feeds into his bars. I see him as having low BnR but a higher than expected PH. Does this mean his combing fed more into his PH, which then lowered his BnR? Or is his BnR masked?

                      Should be interesting.

I see him as VU (35 intel) with nonzero bump, so all bets are off. However, I would still expect his main strengths to be elsewhere and would be surprised if he were anywhere approaching "good" at bump. Which is alright.

He's also really on the short end, and I hope that's not a big issue. I expect it to kind of be one, and he'll have to make up for it with skill.

It sounds like other people also just got him as U, so they might be more spot on, too. Probably not a super steal, but a starting corner is going to be just fine! It's the M2M bar whose movement will be most crucial here.

I liked him a lot. I was hoping he fell into the 1.29 due his height, but Aston is Aston...

Also had Ochs as U. Can't really see how he would be VU.

Made my pick since I am walking into work now and I may not make it back in time to make my pick.

Sorry guys who sent me mgs to move up.
