I extended all our existing staff, they all seemed to have decent bars for their roles and placed the franchise tag on RB T.J. Barlow.

He was productive last year for the Mermen and has been over his career, so we'll see how he recovers from his shoulder injury.

The move takes up $15m of cap space but I doubt we'll be making huge moves in FA, though we will have to make some due to not having a full compliment of draft picks.

This should be an interesting off-season in Memphis. Shawn Martinez is reigning All-League 1st Team QB, despite not playing a single snap for his first three seasons in the league. Thus, I have him locked up for the next two years at under $2mil per. I was planning on taking a shot at a highly rated QB this year, but given his success last season we'll give him another shot this year.

Anchorage hired away our DC, which hurts. He was the best coach on our staff, and if I had the option to promote from within he'd have been my HC last year.

So, we're sitting on three first round picks and over $100 mil in cap space. We may be active in the FA market this year and make a run at Waco. It will depend on who becomes available and what the draft looks like. Either way, it should be an interesting year.

        that's hilarious btw

on other news, Pearl Harbor is revamping both coordinators with some younger blood and a new assistant coach after "Grandpa" Bates retired.

We liked coach Carlson and signed him to a 4 year deal...hopefully the money doesn't get to his head

We are franchising Ramon Moe, and we expect a 20 sack season this season if he stays healthy. He better stay healthy or I am blaming Rob for everything.

Galligher will get his Franchise tender. And we have 3 millions to fill 11 more players... A lot veterans in contract year. Is going to be an interesting off-season... See how I can get everyone under the cap

I lowered ticket prices so I can get some more people in the seats. I assume it is going to be hard to get a lot of people to come to game with a foot of snow on the ground and temperatures around 5 degrees.

Also got some new faces on the coaching staff. Don't understand this too well, so I will be results oriented as an owner.

Rules Change: Starting with unrestricted FAs signed in this offseason, only players signed to 2+ year deals are eligible for future franchise tags.

                Hahaha

I don't! I find it funny that I was one of the last two people to do it.

In other news, my cap space is wide open. Time to get aggressive and start building a championship team...Only 3 million lost cap room.

Glad to see my players asking for "reasonable" contracts out there. Galligher is only asking for $19M / $22M / $24M 3 years extension. instead of the $46 / $35 / $38 of the last year... Much better, now I´ve hope we can fit 53 players in.

Depending on how the draft goes could be some veteran Sharks on the trade block

Looks like he did big time.

It's always hard joining a new league in FA as you try to gauge the going rate for players, especially studs like Collins.

I was disappointed not to sign him but at least we were kinda in the ball park with our bid.

At times, I think it is just plain hard for me to get a mental hold on the numbers we throw around. Too often, I look at the winning contracts and think to myself, "I'd never pay anyone like that."

Then I see what Granberry is asking for his extension. :(
