Well, I upgraded our offensive line with two nice big linemen. RG Otis Fedolfi, 6 foot 8, 322 lbs from B.C. He'll pair up nicely with our first rounder from last year, Ronnie Browning, who will be moved to the left guard position. Then we snagged Tackle Austin Lyon from Bowling Green. He stands at 6 foot 8 as well, 333 lbs, and he'll be moved to right tackle. . . With the medical retirement of our center, Bruce Brooks, we gave up a ton of sacks last year and we had to address the problem. I think we're on our way.
Very surprised at the tackle though, didn't expect him to fall to the second round.

btw just want to say how happy I am with my first pick of Jose Booker. He's a great run stopper, and that's exactly what I want out of my DT's.California Kodiaks - GM - 1982-2013

In Yuma, we're hoping a good defense turns great in 2008, and it all begins with shoring up the strong side LB spot with Erik Person. We saw him and Howard Manalang as the perfect fit at SLB for our system, as both bring a solid all around game to the table, and we were happy to come away with one of the two. Person showed outstanding coverage ability in college to go along with his run stopping and pass rushing skills, and he has the size, strength and ability to play anywhere if needed. He'll likely start immediately, and may also get some special teams work. Our linebacking corps gets deeper and more versatile, and should spell trouble for any offense when coupled with the deep secondary and improving pass rush.

very happy with the top interior lineman in the draft. I hope he works out. We are in dire need of offensive line help. Offense is the way i'm going. With one of the better RBs in the league and one of the better veteran QBs, I decided to get those guys some help. I used a 2nd round pick on a RB who my scout rated "very underrated". He's a big guy at 6'3 230+ and is rated well at speed to the outside and inside running. He should be a load. I'd like to draft a reeiver but I think the guy I got in FA will suffice. QB will be addressed next year.

The Jags front office is thrilled to have first round pick big LDT Earl Greer to plant in the middle of our DL this season. He'll team with RDT Leland "Robbin'" Banks (future 55), LDE Rod "Bonecrusher" McConnell (current 71), and RDE Roosevelt Sullivan (future 75), to thwart any attempts to run the ball on the Jags. You might want to pack a lunch when you come to work against this group.
In the 2nd round, we took a stretch on LG Ethan Gilman. Gilman didn't work out at the combine but scouts have him rated highly in all categories and the team wanted to add depth to the OL and are hoping Gilman can play some tackle as well. Rumor has it he may be moved but there have been no offers so far according to team officials.
As we near our 3rd round pick we are excited to still have several of our top rated players on the board and you can expect the focus on defense to continue. Currently this management team has the top rated defense in the PFL if that is any indication of how this franchise expects to build a winner here in the OSFL.
Stay tuned.PFL Tampa Bay Bucs

I'm excited about my first 3 picks.
1.8 SE Wally Lum, will be a starter from day one most likely, balances out my offense a little more.
1.31 RT J.C. Patton, possible starter, will be behind vet Burt Sampson (42/42), so we'll see how he does in preseason.
2.12 WILB Donny Salomon will probably be a starter opposite SILB Greg Moore.
Should be interesting to see what I do in the 4th round.

Now for some of the other picks we like:
1) QB Whalen - this was a no brainer but this guy is flat out the cream of this crop
2) CB Duffy - what else is there to say, this guy is the whole package and we'll hate playing against him
3) S Green - drafted by Camden which doesn't help us divisionally, this guy was on our board and would have been a Jag had Mr. Greer been still on the board. Nice pick here by Camden.
4) C Webster to KAL - we were crossing our fingers this guy would drop to round 2, he's not the brightest bulb in the building but he's got skills and agility
5) Leland Hackney WR - was at the top of our list for round 2 until we decided to bolster the line instead of the skill positions, should be a heck of a player
6) Alston SE - this was a shocker, I thought for sure this guy would last at least into round 2 if not round 3 as the scouts were not high on him, but I had him pegged as a sleeper and obviously CHI did too, I hope the gamble pays off for them.PFL Tampa Bay Bucs

There's two ALSTON's --- one will be a stud (CHI)-- and the other a dud (LA) ----- wondering if he thought he was getting the good one ....

Portland's picks:
1.6 - Leo Duffy, CB, Notre Dame
I was in Las Vegas during the first round, and I had to send a big board to Andrew. I knew Whalen was going first overall, so I didn't put him on my list, but Duffy was #1 on my list. I was shocked to see that I was able to land him at six. For corners he had the fastest 40 dash, fastest agility, 2nd amount of bench reps, and position specific drill he got 4th. He can do everything at the CB position. My only concerns are his average testing scores, his (0) rating on intelligence, and his height (5'8). He will likely start right away or atleast nickel and ST gunner.
2.6 - Henry Andrews, QB, Miami
I feel very comfortable that I have finally found the QB of the future for this franchise. He has a little ways to develop still, but I think he fits in very well with this team.
I don't think I could of imagined my draft being any better thus far. I landed arguably the best defensive player in the draft at a need position in the 1st, and landed my QB of the future (hopefully) in the 2nd.Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-
