That or take a huge hit on certain postions

I doubt we'd ever do a reboot. Too much history.

I don't like re-boot. Too much history and memories. I would like to carry on as it is. The new guys in the league can tank or do whatever they want to be excited about their teams again. But for the ones that are here for a long time spending years of our life in this league wouldn't be nice at all.

The only thing I fear is if anyone will be able to find exploits in the playbooks. I am sure someone will. Hope Jim will update this a lot during the next 6 months.

Uh, Julio wasn't exaggerating. FOF8 is fundamentally going to change a lot. It'll be interesting to see how things shake out on the long term, but FOF8 is sounding a lot like what Jim wanted FOF7 to be like but the then-current game engine wouldn't allow. Now he's created entirely new gameplanning and it's awesome. It's actually more like real football, which is not what I expected. Good bye weird percentage tweaking gameplanning bullshit, hello actual gameplanning.

Oh, wow. 100-200 manual plays on offense alone was not my idea of "easier".

Man, I'm torn on this. It looks like a lot of work to figure out the gameplanning. If the underlying game isn't significantly improved, that's just going to be wasted time. If the underlying game is improved, it has the potential to be awesome.

I might have to hold off until some of you guys get it and report back. Otherwise, maybe it'll be part of the Steam sale right off the bat and selling for $10 like OOTP.

I respect that, and you all deserve it actually for being loyal players.

Easier? Maybe less obfuscated as it's no longer "run, short, long" with a bunch of numbers and that's it.

I think Rex will be a huge part of all of this coupled with using the proper personnel.

Easier as in less of a chore to play. I want to click one button per season (to pick an offense style) and that's it. Haha.

And yet you resist joining the GML with no gameplanning at all...

Exploits are probably going to exist in areas that I wasn't able to think of myself. There's been some pretty "exploity" tests done, but the end result isn't some "super gameplan".

What combine accuracy are we going to use?? Shall we go back to normal? Or are we going to keep the combines irrelevant??
