    • If South Maryland autos my top choice, I'll be pissed.

      • They get whoever is the very highest left on the board... regardless of position as we've already autoed them through their top 3 needs list.

        • 4.7 4.9

with 4.7 pick port city drafted the 7th rated center in the draft karl carpenter, our scout had him rated in the top 5... we like the fact that he is a very smart center and is an extremely good pass protector. We feel next to Ralph Strikwerda (All-pro guard) and number 2 draft pick Brandon Prior (moving to left tackle) will have a sold left side of the line....

with pick 4.9 we where torn between to players OT dixon rich and Mlb Johnnie Oukac. The 4.8 helped push us in the direction we were going... after drafting Al Bradford in the first round as a pass covering pass rushing speed demon... we decided to get the need middle linebacker our team desperatly needed.... there were a few lb rated higher then johnnie, but we had him targeted since the beginning of the draft...our scout thinks he's very underated.. and he is the smartest linebacker in the draft... we think him next to Bradford will give us a young talent linebacker core to anchor the defense for many years to come......

          • BTW, if South Maryland is given the top player remaining, they'll receive P Tracy Gunn who is a 6.6.

Hopefully that's not who you wanted Clay.

            • I really liked Karl Carpenter and would have taken him last round if Freeman had been off the board.

                  • Took Ole' Jumbo Zereoue at FS with my second 4th round pick.

Hopefully he can be a solid backup/special teamer for years to come.

Yes, my scout said VO but I still think he has a ton of potential. He was high on my list for 4.18.

                          sorry about that ;0)

When you have a 9 year old TE making too much money -- it's worth a shot ...

I had him very overrated. I also was planning on taking him at 4.21 though.

                            • I thought about taking McElroy in round 3, but thought he might fall a bit further. His combine numbers are very good across the board.
