              • Wow, I really like that trade for Waco. I hate that they're in my division, though.

                  • MLB Harris Muncy is added to the Waco defense. With these two picks our defense for the future has certainly taken shape. Very excited to get this guy. Thanks for the trade Jistic.

Really? I like it a lot for Chicago.

Waco went 3-13 this past season...are two rookies going to make them great right away? Probably not. Chicago now will have (potentially) 2.2 in this draft, a top ten pick in next years draft, and a top ten 2nd round pick. Those could even be top five.

And who is the South Maryland owner?
                        Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-
                        Seattle Pilots- 2017-2041

I think NLB has proven that you don't assume just because one team is bad one year, they'll be bad again the next. I've played Waco enough to know they aren't as bad as their record. It's just my opinion, but I don't like trading out of 1.7, and picking up nothing in the first this year.

If anything, this pretty much seals Chicago being amongst the league's worst again next year.

The way we've been playing, we could have two top 5's in the first two rounds next year. Plus we added a high 2nd this year that we lost last year from the Julio Durham deal. Long run, this should make us better.

                            • I made a bid for the S and the 1-7. I would have chosen Muncy. MLBs can be game changers and playmakers.

                              • I don't like the trade for either team, which probably means it's good for both.

I agree with Sully in that I'm surprised Chicago moved out of 1.7 and didn't get a 1st this year. Then again, if he's rebuilding he should have 2 picks in the top half of the draft next year.

For Waco, I liked Muncy but I think that's a lot to give up for a MLB. Maybe I'm thinking about impact too much in real life terms, rather than FOF terms though.
