    • Ha, yeah it usually takes a weekend to finish the first round... and then it gets quicker as the picks go by.

Before you know it, it'll be all over and you'll have to wait another six months for the next one!

        • Great pick! He's the best value, and he will be a star on your line for years to come.

          • My line is pretty solid now. The mock draft had me selecting him 4th so he is a great value.

              • Pick is done. We moved up to get CB Kendall Britton. Our scouts see him as a good all around CB who was "very underrated". We needed another CB with Josh Castine getting older.

I was personally looking at Britton, based on his solid combine, but my scout said he was VO. Go figure.

                    • FYI, I will be on planes most of the day so I wanted to announce how we will handle St. Paul in the draft. In my absence, Linty and Andrew are co-commissioners and will pick for St. Paul. Based on the game, they will select the best player filling St. Paul's biggest need. They are allowed to use combine results to determine who is the best player but not their team scouts opinion. I should be back online late tonight.

                      • Unfortunately I'll be away for most of the day as well. Going to the in-laws for mothers day. Hopefully Linty will be around if we get to St Paul. If not, I should be able to make the pick early this evening.

                          • Thanks for the text Matt to tell me I was on the clock, I got my man in Schindlbeck or whatever his name is.

I'll probably be gone most of the day, but I don't pick until 3.6, so I think I'm good.

                            • Vegas takes 6'7 341 OL Jumbo Buchanan. We decided to save money on scouting this year and just take the biggest guy at UNLV.

Guard was not our biggest need, but we needed a mauler... he'll probably become our C, and we'll take a look at him at RT.

                              • Yea he's huge, hence JUMBO. That's one of the few top 20 picks that I scouted just in case I didn't get a starting tackle in the FA. The Hawaiian looks to be AWESOME, at least in my scout's eyes. I'll be following his rookie season.
