  • Good pick with Anthony... he was the other guy in my queue I wanted to trade up for.

True, but I never went over the time limit.

Great numbers. Developed. And I needed a Nickel back.

        • I like the pick of Anthony as well. I was hoping he would fall into the late 2nd...

          • Welcome to the 2nd round!

We are now on a two hour pick limit. Please take note.

Hopefully we can move past the drama of the last few picks and continue to have this draft move in such a quick fashion.

I promise you he would have been gone at 2.9. He would have been my starting Nickel from Day 1.

                  • Licking my chops at 2.7, some good talent to be had.

                    • Tough choice on Skeen but I could have stayed up all night and still not decided between him and my other thought. Hopefully the other guy is still there at 2.6.

We liked Skeen's combine numbers and with Madison and saavy vet Mickey Thomas, he should have time to develop. If Madison turns out to not be the answer, which is really possible, hopefully Skeen will be waiting.

Really happy to get CB Truchsess earlier, too. He's obviously not Ramsey, but when we couldn't trade up to get him earlier, we set our sights on Truchsess and got lucky he fell. Or who knows, maybe he's a third rounder and everyone else got lucky I wasted a pick. 60% developed, quick... my only concern is he's 5'9" 179. I've woke up next to girls bigger than that.

Skeen was actually the only QB I scouted. Really liked his combine and my scout was a big fan. He could be a steal if he meets his potential.

                          • I have a few things to say. First off, I'd like to apologize for what transpired earlier. I do agree that it's Z's fault, and that Linty was only doing what was in the best interest of the league. My only gripe was that we were going against the way we had handled these situations in the past. That's it. His "too bad" comment kinda forced me over the edge, and I apologize for that. Linty and I talked privately about it, and we're cool. You can all sleep better now tonight.

                            A couple other things...

We have a blowout like this every year. It's become an OSFL tradition, and I can honestly say this is the first time I've participated in one. It feels good.

Skerik, you're still a douchebag, and I know you were just pushing my buttons to keep me going.

And jwolf, I'm sorry that you don't enjoy SGN because of...me. OK, actually, no I'm not. I never really liked you anyway.

                            HaHa. I'm kidding. Really.....
                            Or am I?

                              • I really could care less if you don't like me, man. I think you seem like a cool enough guy and I don't "hope" you never liked me, but if you don't, I mean, this is an internet forum, really. We've all got more important things in our lives going on. That being said, I really didn't mean to be a dick or anything (or am I?, haha), and I wouldn't have said it if I actually thought it was going to really piss you off or that you wouldn't handle it and then be over it in a couple hours. And I've really loved being in these leagues at SGN. I don't know where you got that I didn't enjoy SGN, because if I didn't, I for sure wouldn't be on here everyday. I love the competition and the fact that there are other people out there that care enough to make these leagues work. Anyways, I like you, Sully, and that's all my heart needs to know.
