Spent half the day trying to trade and the guy I wanted was there when my pick came up....

Motor City adds their 2nd Marc Sutter to the team. This one is an over-sized MLB from Kansas who will likely move to the WLB spot in Training Camp. Spending a 2nd high pick on a LB is Motor City's way of hedging our bet to sure up what we feel is the only remaining weakness on our very successful Defense.

If we can get the kind of production out of this Marc Sutter as we've gotten so far out of the two time Pro Bowler that we already have, we'll be happy.

The new era continues got my man Tyrus Kincaid a bit of a reach (again) but his great size/speed combination, great in coverage, a guy who can step in and play right away at SAM, and my scout says he has a huge upside

Got our newest pass rushing DT in J.J. McDonald. He will have a great chance to start this season if he does well in T.C.

With 4.20, the Motor City Mechanics took Gus Richards from Mississippi State. A little undersized for this league, but we feel that his skills perfectly match our offensive philosophy. Our scout seems him as VERY UNDERRATED and we feel like after a few years on the bench learning and backing up Billy Joe, he could be our QB of the future.

As the back up, we shall officially call him "The Jiz Mopper".

Drafted safety Leon Gagne at 4.18. Undersized with a ton of speed. Looks like a corner to me.

                Kalispel the Quiet team

In a quiet , got no picks draft. We choose Howie Staley, FB Virginia Tech. Howie is one of those picks who is going to either really good or his mental make up will send him on the road of other league nut cases.

Staley was next on my draft board. High risk, high reward pick.

With 4.24, I went with cornerback Victor Dawson out of Stanford. His combine is average, but his bars look good, he has good size and I think he will contribute.

With my first five picks I have now selected four defensive players. Defensive End, Linebacker, Safety and Corner. Much needed, my defense is pretty weak.

Maybe it took me this long to realize this, but isn't the clock supposed to be two hours?

I don't understand how this clock works. I waited for three hours for the previous pick, and now I only have one hour on the clock for my pick?

Rounds 6 and 7 are 1 hr. Also the clock is turned off from 11pm to 8 am. I dont know how you waited three hours in round 5 unless the team before you was on the clock during the off hrs.
