We got the guy we wanted all along RB Billy Joe Jenness.

He's the fastest back in the draft by a large margin, 0.11 in the 40. Plus he is the 2nd strongest back with 19 reps in the bench press.

This should allow us to get some big plays on the ground this year rather than having to rely solely on Nori and the WR's.

Was really hoping Jenness would fall one more spot. Pint hasn't missed a start since the league began but I plan on running him until his legs fall off and I got a feeling that day isn't too far off.

i was torn with my selection you got a home run hitter in B.J! great speed great size. and he will help in the passing game in protection too. he is a touchdown waiting to happen.

I can't believe this guy fell this far.

Y'all need to check out MalcPow's thread. I'm fairly certain he covers this in it. Tubbs is a heavily, heavily masked QB--maybe as high as a 70.

He was on my radar. My scout likes him.

I thought he would be there at the beginning of the third. I was tempted to trade up. Only guy I truly wanted in the whole draft.

                    Beginning of the third???

If I could have figured out a way to trade up to 1.2 as well as 1.1, I would have taken him there. I didn't have time to check in most of this weekend, or I would have traded up once I saw he fell out of the top 10.

I guess I don't participate in enough MP drafts to target where a guy like that would normally go.

He doesn't look all that great to me. Must be pretty sweet (and fair) to look at a guy and realize he will be stud even though the game doesn't tell you so.

I had Tubbs at number 2 on my list when my pick came around at 2.17 - I should have updated that thing. Smithson should be quite a weapon though and we have a couple 1sts next year to go get a QB with.

To me, it's not a matter of where he would go, but his value. This is a league without many good young QBs, and a guy who's headed for the mid 60s or better is very valuable.

I just looked, and yes, this type of player was covered explicitly in MalcPow's thread:

No combine guys are more likely to be masked in this way.
                            Here's the thread:

Yeah, I just read that. Interesting stuff. No long passing bar, though, which threw me. Also, I always have trouble evaluating no combine guys. Is there a guideline to doing it? Is it just based on bars?
