Thanks, had him and one other player almost equal. But his ability to play CB cinched it.

Rudzinski was the slam dunk, runaway number 1 pick in this draft. After that I had a bunch of players closely bunched. I strongly considered Montoya, but went with Burmeister because I had him as underrated, really liked his combines and bars, and think pairing him with Segers means I can comfortably make the switch to 4-3 I've been planning on to use the DT depth I've been building up. Whether this is a successful shift is still a matter of debate, but I'm looking forward to see how it plays out.

Is it appropriate to put draft-day trades here? If not, I'll put up a new thread.

Otherwise, Utah's first round pick is for sale.

Its appropriate to announce that you are interested in trading your pick here but if you actually make a trade, please create a thread in the Trade Announcement forum.

With the 10th pick in the first round, the Charlotte Knights select:

Fernando Carlin, WR from Fresno State

Charlotte flirted with trading this pick and was committed to the move, but the front office changed it's mind at the last second and did not pass up the talented senior from Fresno State.

GM Jake Wolf felt that Carlin holds similar potential to #1 pick Shannon Rudzinski, although Carlin does not have the return skills or history of Rudzinski.

New Orleans is rumored to have wanted Carlin, but is reportedly very happy with consolation prize Norman Sanders.
