I think its interesting to note that Baltimore's sole Top Prospect is #30, Pirro Hildalgo (C) from Arizona State. He was a 10th round pick by Carolina in 1991 and has hit his way into the AAA ranks and may be ready to play in the Show next year.

Thank God for Carolina leaving the trash can open.

I hope this isn't just fools gold.

I really liked Hamilton in that 1990 draft. Looks like we jumped up to 7th on the strength of those OFs and my first 2 picks last draft. I wish some of my IF prospects from my first 2 drafts had progressed better.

Is there any spot in the HTML or the league file that gives off history for the BA lists?

I realize I can always go back and look at a particular player's profile but I'm interested in seeing how Davenport looked in the Riverman days. I tore apart most of our system with the hope of making a run at a title in '89 but we failed miserably.

Even though it has hurt us now, it was easy at the time. I think you have a less of an attachment with players you never drafted.

I'm not keeping track but I've been paying attention. It seems like you add another player every month.

13 top 100 prospects. Goodness. I remember being excited about having seven pitchers in the top 100 once upon a time. You have nearly double that.

I think you're the only one.

Let's see if OOTP screws them all because the parent club is doing bad.

Down to 199 points this week, but Pepe Gonzalez has rejoined the list at #100. That gives us 13 Tobs prospects in the top 100, for those keeping track of this sort of thing.

It's okay though. I'm happy in the players I got in the trades for them...Castre, Gonzalez, Sasaki, and Dominguez.

It's also safe to say I have one of the youngest "decent" teams in the BLB. If we can get SP Tanner and C Tucker up from AAA next season I think we should have a solid nucleus for a while that I can hopefully use that time to rebuild the minors.

    SP Castre: 27
    SP Gonzalez: 24
    SP Little: 28
    SP Walters: 27
    SP Sasaki: 30
    MR Crossman: 26
    MR Petro: 23
    MR Martel: 22
    CL Bayer: 28

    C May: 27
    1B Ray: 25
    2B Jarava: 25
    SS Ednams: 25
    3B Dominguez: 27
    LF Marin: 27
    CF Rojas: 26
    RF Nan: 23
    THat's a nice group.

McQueen and Magness are a little long in tooth for my staff at 29 and 31, but the bulk of my high end prospects (Top 90) are Pitchers... so hopefully this group can stay young and replenish.

My biggest "hole" right now is that I really don't have that heir apparent for Woodbury. In fact, assuming that Daly is going to continue to be good (with the potential of great)... I actually will have weakness in two OF positions after next season. My best Bat prospects are IFs by far.

My system has cracked the 200 point mark, so this is the highest we've been rated. Still 12 of our guys in the top 100.

Just realized that I have 9 in the Top 90 (2 are rookies at the BLB level).

    I love my team.

Not much to report other than I moved up the vast majority of my AA team to AAA this past sim.

One step closer for my prospects to make the big time!
