  • 2027 Draft Discussion

    Here we go again.

Kalispel added a stud WR for Bollywood as we move into the 21st century. We think he can become the next Jerry Rice. Fastest player in the combine plus size and agility . Can't miss.

    Welcome Jermaine Choate

SF drafted a great pocket passer.

Great set of Top 2 Picks, guys.

I wanted Choate and I threw the book at Brad and tom for him (3 1's and 3 2's -- I pay up when I move into the top 2 ) but they landed two can't-miss guys for their franchises.

That WR is worth it. It was the best offer I could do, and while the amount of draft stock is pretty compelling, so was the player. Can't blame 'em. Nobody else in this class I would give up so much for.

Brad also has a WR that is that good already and just needed a QB to get him the ball.

I've been on both sides of these deals before at the 1.2 spot. Once I moved down so someone could grab a stud QB (it allowed me to grab a three guys - at LT, LB, and S - that became core players on a now very competitive team) and another time I moved up to get a WR (Rob Lester [CyFL]). For the right guy, it's hard to put a price tag on it.

If that's what Kalispel paid for that WR, it was worth it.

its easy youre getting 3 #1s from utah fine where are those picks gonna be? mid 20's late 20's? obviously all those picks arent utahs but more than likely youll get a good lb solid cb? but you will never EVER get a wr like that and as anyone has play this game for a while knows a stud wr makes up for a LOT of shortcomings

                  1.21, 1.31, 2.4, 2.11, 2.21, Utah's 2028 1st was the offer.

Yeah, with higher 1sts I could've done better. Oh well, I wasn't much in position to. The other WR I showed above, I was able to really pay for, although I probably overdid it on that one: 1.16, 1.26, 1.30, 1.31, 2.3.

Everyone thought I had to be going after this (major stud VU QB -- Randy Boone, but probably better), but strick nailed it. WRs like those are hard to come by. Really tough to pass up an opportunity like that. It will always be worth it for teams with established foundations to pay heavy for a truly outstanding WR.

I like at least a little bit of realism for my team:

                    1) No team in need of a franchise QB sitting at 1.1 with a worthy QB on the board would ever trade out of the pick
                    2) They would certainly never trade that pick to a team that has been to the championship game 5 straight years!

So true, and doubly so in FOF. Absolute right call.

For the league you made the right call. The only way you trade out of that is an Eli Manning situation, which we don't have to deal with in FOF thankfully

Even with the WR, Tommie Lee (jones) is quite the stud and the thought crossed my mind to take him . Great player
