No, seriously, that RB looks pretty terrible. He must fumble like a mofo. These guys will have to bump a lot to reach significance, especially that S.

Plantilla is at least a +6 and you know how I feel about guys like that. Same goes for Kau but maybe he's "only" a +4 or +5.

Laporte, if he's creeping at all it is a steal of a pick.

The RB is the only questionable pick, maybe. It might be a race to see whose is worse, your 1st round RB or mine.

Yup, definitely a race! Denver's 3rd round RB, I think his name was Monroe, came out 30/35 and I wouldn't put it past him to be at least as good as my 1st rounder.

Plantilla I am pretty sure is headed to CB.

              Our picks:

              1 - 10 O.J. Sheldon QB, 15/39
              1 - 21 Pete Taylor RB, 37/51
              1 - 25 Ken Hoffman OLB, 22/44
              3 - 29 Carlos Greer S, 17/56
              5 - 12 Donnell Collins P, 61/61

The last time the AI gave me a C rating, we had an outstanding draft. Here is hoping for the same this time.

Taylor was traded so these are the results:

                1 - 10 O.J. Sheldon QB, 21/47 (+6/+8)
                1 - 25 Ken Hoffman OLB, 28/52 (+6/+8)
                3 - 29 Carlos Greer S, 23/53 (+6/-3)
                5 - 12 Donnell Collins P, 59/59 (-2/-2)

Some vaguely interesting undrafted players that will make the team but nothing too fantastic...

In any case, the 1-10 and 1-25 picks are fantastic and that's all I care about. We sent a lot to get Sheldon but from my vantage point it was well worth it.

Sheldon bumped. Dammit. I knew he would.

Double dammit. A, in my division, and B, really wish I knew how to scout QBs. :)

On that topic, would like to thank my support system for weaning me off my QB addiction, esp. Utah & Boston. I almost took QB Joey Kroll (+4/-5) in the first round. WHEW.

That's interesting, since I thought Utah was saying Kroll was a good pick.

I really thought Kroll would bump. QBs. What a pain in the ass.

My draft sucked all around. My 1st round QB went -9, which is much more than the -5 I was expecting. My other picks were more need picks than BPA. I need to go back to BPA. My LB should still turn out pretty good, which is nice as I desperately needed to get younger there.

Yeah, I looked at Kroll later in round 1 and thought he was VU as somebody suggested. Oops, shows what I know! If he had fallen to me I might've even taken the plunge myself.

I had all kinds of bad feelings about Kroll, but if he fell to me late in the 1st and I needed a QB I still would have been tempted.
