We do have another one of my old favorites, though, in Roderick Sikkenga. Really a bummer about the cohesion, however.

Did the player not want to sign until this stage? If you make an offer early, he won't take it until the stage he wants to sign. So if I see you made an early offer in stage 3 and the player wants to sign in stage 6. I won't offer till then...beat yours...and get the player.

This is exactly what happened.

On players signing later that I'm interested in, I literally open up the bid screen and hit okay. Before the stage that they want to sign up on I go back in and adjust my bid.

Why is it that the players I REALLY need and want don't sign with me, but the filler players do? UGH! I need O line help and every one of them signed elsewhere. Even when I looked to have the higher bid.

Uh oh. I had some key offers pulled due to lack of cap room. That's what I get for losing track of numbers. $60 million sure goes down in a hurry when you're signing a bunch of guys in chunks.

Sometimes you also forget you have nearly $50M in cap penalty to deal with.
