I think I'm seeing now that players are affected by being left on the open market.

Boston S Gilbert Braico and CB Bobby Plantilla both would've been back with the team way earlier if they were going to take 1-year, 0-bonus, minimum salary deals. Back in Early FA, they refused substantially better offers than that. Somewhere between then and Late FA3, things apparently changed.

Braico's a guy who started 14 games last year and recorded 81.9 PD%, as well.

Also of note: you can now click on rookies (signed or unsigned)' scouting bars to view ratings history and see their pre-TC bars according to the league scout. You couldn't do this during Late Free Agency. What that actually means I don't know, it's mainly a curiosity, but our league scout does happen to be quite good - almost 80 rated.

Oh I wasn't questioning it. I was just away from my computer and wondered what it looked like...year and bonus wise.

It feels like we haven't had a meaningful sim in a week or so. Part of that is that the TC sim isn't Christmas like in 2k7, but I've kind of forgotten what's going on in the league.

Honestly, part of that is my life is nuts right now and the weekend felt looooong. Yes, long. I know, that's backwards. ;)
