            speak for yourself :P

            anyway LOL

week 12 finds tom skeen heading back to charolette where his carrer began 12 years ago this will be skeens 1st regualr season game played against charloette, if it means anything (and it doesnt) these 2 teams met in the presason and teh riders shut out the knights 18-0.

skeen said it will be a little emotional playin on the fireld where he first became a pro. "its what you dream about as a kid and charloette is where my dreams first came true, i love the city i love the people i love the carolinas. ill take teh guys out to this rib joint we always used to go to the day nefore the games it was kind of a thing and i miss it."

"as much as i love the home crowd, once that ball is in the air its my job to disappoint them cause we need this win to keep pace. 10 wins may not even get you into the wildcard this year so affter droppign 2 close ones we need to get back on track"

my playoffs start now if i drop to 6-6, losing 4 straight my season is over especially with Columbus and Utah still on the schedule not looking good tho with portalnds +9 in takeaways.

after the hot start we had this season will be a disappointment if we dont make the playoffs.

hard fought battle still too many fumbles and sacks thank god they arent at the same time (making lemonaide) the playoff picture has gotten worse or better? now there are 6 teams still int he hunt for 2 spots

at this point i cant worry about others altho i cant believe im rooting for utah, the idea being the division will be locked up so he wont be playing his starters. cause columbus will hand me my lunch next week and LA may have something to play for on the last day of the year

so a curise control bees team is my only hope but that doesnt seem liekly as they still need 3 wins to lock up the division or a utah win and phoenix loss next week (both very liekly) and with Gainsville, Phoenix, Columbous and Denver remaining on the bees schedule i can expect no mercy,

havent watch the game film but the key to today was special teams, had a lot of short fields thats part of why portland out gaind me by over 100 yds

kick return yards Portland 5/67 Phoenix 5/138
average start postion Phonenix 42 yard line Portland 25 yard line

                      a great trick indeed.

wow all i can say is wow, Tom Skeen does it again goes on the road and engineers a upset.

the game turned on a 15 play 80 yard drive to start the 3rd quarter in including converting a 3rd and 18. ran the ball enough to keep the d at bay

the pass rush finally showed up along with the rest of the d 2 outstanding performers

CB Cris Lowe 6 solo tackles 1 assists 2 passes defensed
OLB Monty Lester 3 solo tackles 1 assist 1 sack 2 passes defensed

no time to rest with a utah loss next week (tomorrow) is make or break.

Skeen has 31 sacks on the year. We'll do what we can to get him up to 40 ;)

i know right LOL at least hes not running for his life, only 8 knock downs. scary part about this game is whoever loses could be out of the playoff picture, i thnk you may need 10 wins for the wild card spot!

marvelous THATS why the NC would have been a better choice 8-8 and your in LOL

better to be lucky than good

the riders escape 1st play was a sack fumble by utah i proceed to miss a 25 yarder cant run the ball, nowhere in my gameplan was Tom Skeen throwing 44 times suprisingly only allowing the 1 sack.

nate barlow ripped me a new one as usual with catches of 21, 27, and 27 yards

We lose after missing a FG from the 26-yard line in the closing minute.

                              Tough luck for us.

We'll lose next week too, and after starting out 9-2 or something, this has been some kind of collapse!
