the good:

ricos first start and he came out firing going 10 for 14 in the first half

the bad

in the second half he went 8 for 28 with 2 picks. granted 1 pick was on the last play of the game

the ugly

blocked punt for td fumbles and picks oh my



all in all a great game in spite of the loss not only did Rico look good but he brough life to the team racking up almost 450 yards of offense.

Isaac Andrews got a sack to put him in the 100 sack club only the 3rd palyer in OSFL history to reach that milestones. 3rd all time only 5 off the record and 5th round pick 2nd year DE Donovan Hopper had 4 hurries in 21 pass plays. looks like hes doing well.


and utah and LA lost so hope is still alive it deosnt get any easier as we open our new stadium wtih Anchorage but Rico has a good game under thier belt

much better showing for our home opener.a tale of 2 half's 1st half we moved the ball we 2nd half 0 points

offense was ineffective in the 2nd half (poor gp)

the good

rico went over 300 yds and looked DECENT doing it

and lots of guys are back from injury Monty Lester mainly

the bad

2 missed fgs and 9 other drives that resulted in 0 points.

the ugly

4 giveaways and gave jugg to many short fields, i should be happy he only scored 27 could have been much worse


another tough loss, tough in the respect that we beat ourselves. not taking anythign from jugg they smashed our brains but threw a pick in the endzone and the bombers went and scored 2 fumbles and just ineffective offense yet agian. our punters the shit tho!

the good

will shumways 4th game over 140 yds rushing in his last 5 (not one of the best rb's indeed) number 2 in the OSFL in rushing yards

Isaac Andrews gets a sack and a half plus and scores his 3rd td on a 77 yard sack/fumble/td

the bad

3 redzone trips and no tds just 1 would have made the difference.


the ugly

more turnovers more penalties and only 11 first downs still having problems moving the ball.

Tom Skeen comes back to try and get a win to keep the season alive and err not so much 2 picks surely the result of rust but as usual we play the Monsters tough but this time we come up short. speaking of short Rico will be the starter the rest of the season so we will bite the bullet, (youre welcome matt) and let rico cut his teeth

this game could have been much worse 4 turnovers 8 punts and im seeing that cohesion is perhaps more important than i thought cause im gettign stuffed on a lot of short yardage plays and i think overall my line is better than it was last year

the good

not much forced 4 fumbles and allen rose decided to start playing gettign 2 sacks of the notoriously elusive randy boone

the bad

Quinn Robinette will be a PITA for years to come looks like most of that m2m will fill in (sadly)


the ugly

this whole season the injury to Skeen really was a kick in the balls rico is 0-5 and not even been close, emmerson has at least kept us in games and looking at the south i could STILL make the post season aww who the fuck am i kidding

believe me ive thought about it but since the season is lost might as well let Frodo take his lumps and hope he comes back better next year

Man. It's like Rico has two modes: awesome, or teh suck. And it's one or the other. His worst 'awesome' game was a 239 yard, 91.7 performance against Port City. His best 'teh suck' game as a 92-yard, 68.7 performance against Anchorage.

The good news is that development is very very light, and his bars are pretty far along red for what that development is. Probably a much better year 2, but I'd consider re-signing Tom Skeen, too...Rico looks like he's begging to be sent to summer league, but an injury would be bad.
