Ok, back to trivia (but not in the form of a trivia question):

Ethan Bafford needs 2 2b's and one RBI to achieve the statistical oddity that is

    30+ 2Bs | 10+ 3B | 30+ HR | 100+RBI in a single season.

Discounting 2 tainted VIR players, this oddity has been achieved 5 other times.

So, I lied. There is a trivia question element to this post. Can you guess any of the six instances? (Hints below, because this is a really niche, obscure set of criteria):

    1 PHI -
    1 HAR - Frank Donegan - 1984
    2 IND - Jimmy Jones - 2005|?
    1 PAW -

Edit: Updated to remove incorrect SIN instance

We never went down the rabbit hole (and for good reason)

To me he did the most manipulation over the years to his own team where if I had to guess 12-14 players we involved (Does anyone remember the SP Jerry Morgan collapse after the trade?)

Then 3 teams had some unusual "bad luck"

    Washington
    Hartford
    California.

I'm sure he had some selective individual players usually the ones who threatened the greatness of his own players that he might of squashed, but again we will never know the full extent of this only speculation.

Kind of a summary of events.

Pawtucket was one of those teams at the time young and talented.(91-96) Did he do anything to Pawtucket? You know, I dont think so. Its probably due perhaps to Jistic having my back. Jistic had a history of calling him out. Game 7 in the 91 Brewmaster Cup might of been the only thing since it was so so weird to see who the game chose to start. We fought a 119 win team tooth and nail so couldnt be to depressed.

I use to deal with his statements of "Your teams talented players has plateaued where my players are thriving" and use to scratch my head as to why considering my players where in they're prime where his were on the wrong side of 30, but thats about it.

He sent the donations back. We used it to pay 2014-2015 hosting fees.

Looking back its amazing how Clay's world was crashing all around him. Does seem he almost wanted to get caught.

So, nothing behind the scenes, nothing behind the curtain, that contract alone was grounds for dismissal. It just happened to coincide with the Jistic/Matt/et al bombshell of injury editing.
