The Jerry Daly contract extension alone was outward proof of wrongdoing. So, nothing behind the scenes, nothing behind the curtain, that contract alone was grounds for dismissal. It just happened to coincide with the Jistic/Matt/et al bombshell of injury editing.
He would have burned SGN to the ground.

One guy dropping sure its life, two guys ok unlikely but bad luck. THREE GUYS , All outfielders and oh two right after extensions....................
Back-to-back-to-back Stout Sluggers all killed before 29 years old.

He had a 7 or 8 for avoid K's, was a massive home run threat, won the DL Stout Slugger and then fell off the planet.

Looking back, his decline was mildly comical (sorry UMD).
My 1995 and 1997 teams were monsters.

It would be more apt to say Castor got too close to the Shaver's Edge.

Any RHB that could hit 40 in Phillips Field had tremendous power.

I think he held the BLB record for RBI in a single season for a while too.
