Yeah nice pick up Pat. He was next on my list.
Pawtuckets 5 prospects are all hitters. Lol, sounds like typical Patriot baseball. Judging by the feeder leagues I may need to wait til 2008, but needing to pop a few starters over the next few seasons.

After drafting CL Alex Otero in the Rule V draft...
And moving him from CL to 2B...
He is now the #27 top prospect in baseball.

Bad: After trading away Kataoka, the Bats fall to 20th in Top Systems.
Good: 3B Ron Liverett, drafted 2.21 this year, debuts at #99 on the list. He's hitting .412 with a 1.107 OPS in August.

One of my favorite things is looking back at the records for HS, NCAA, and Cape Cod. It's the Who's Who of the BLB.

That 2004 Seminoles squad had Verba, McPherson, and Murillo? Wow.
Plus, they had Taylor Swallows just for good measure.

So both of our 2nd round picks in Ian Phelan and Tom Franks debuted in the Top 100. Phelan is going to surprise a lot of people and I'm still deciding on where Franks will be playing. He may have the skill to be an above average SS but he could also be a shut down reliever. Definitely a good problem to have.
