Sully, don't you want the utmost realism and competition? Look, even if we kicked liquid out - and Andrew makes a great point just like YOU did earlier - liquid is and always has been very reliable, so he deserves the benefit of the doubt... but even if the penalty was getting kicked out, or he was resigning, wouldn't you want the new owner to have a fair start/playing field? It just seems best for the entire league that one team doesnt have a FB and P and K getting first or second round money while they continue to have needs and a bunch of 36/38 starters. It might not be best for you, and you have every right to bitch about it because it's your opinion, but its best for the league.
No disrespect, but I've only been here for 5 months, and between this, missed "8 pm" sims, and most of all BLB realignment I've learned that the number #1 rule at SGN is....

I wouldn't have taken Bartrum or Wyoming.
Also, I say using commen sense, despite the rules, is usually the way to go. A FB in the first round, not so sensical, and only hurts the league. It is one thing to punish an owner for not being around all weekend to draft (which is rediculous, and grounds for dismissal, IMO) and another thing to destroy a team and diminish the competitive balance of the league.

On this note.... this is probably way too complicated, but what if for the first round we changed the four hour rule to be conditional.... meaning... each person's pick gets four hours. If they sign on to the boards or post, or say before hand that they might be working, or out with the family, or whatever, they get four hours. On the other hand, if two hours passes and they haven't been on the boards, or haven't posted, or haven't let anyone know before they pick that they might be somewhere else when their pick could come up, then we auto for them. Because I would say 99% of the time when someone is a no show for their first two hours on the clock, they're a noshow for the entire four. But this is my only league and only my second draft, so I could be wrong, I just get that feeling.Charlotte Knights - OSFL
