Week 2 post game

the post gaem press conference was canelled as head coach Roger Kenny slamed shut his office door after pulling in his offensive coordinator and his line coach and letting out a explitave laden rant, this was quote surely due the the 10 penalties including 2 holding penalties inthe end zone that resulted in 2 safteys and a missed block resulted in another safetey on a screen pass.

they also allowed 5 sacks of tom skeen who to his credit did everything he could rushing for 1 td and passing for another one, skeen was diplomatic in his assement of the lines performance saying simply "ethan missed all of last year so hes still workign the rust off and lets face it were not gettign any younger, myself included"

credit must be given to Gainevilles punter as he dr0pped 3 punts inside the 5 yard line. to thier credit after giving up 28 straight points phoenix got to within 7 untill they allowed another saftey late in the 4th efeectively ending the game

Week 3 post game

after last weeks sad performance Marcus Martin returned to pro bowl form and will shumway went for over 100 yds havent had a chance to watch the game yet but all looks well skeen showing hes still got it had his 2nd rushing td of the season otehr than the 2 ints (4 on the season) was very effecient completeing passes to 6 different recievers

defense was outstanding 3rd year DT Keith blades collected 2 sacks and early in the season he leads the team in sacks with 3.5 (tied for 2nd in the OSFL) will shumway has had a bit of fumblitis afer only 1 fumble all of last year he already has 3 this year.

the riders look to keep things rolling next week with Ohio valley

Will shumway runs for 142 yds including a 99 yd td run
throw out the 99 yarder and he averaged .68 yds per carry

Would not worry about the lack of sacks that much. Hurries and knockdowns are fine.

hes the only one NOT getting sacks! my 3rd year part time back up 18/34 DT has 3.5 sacks andrews has 0

it more for him he needs 4 sacks to hit 100 and 8 to be #1 all time in sacks, and i know i squandered him teh first few years i had him

website, i know hes "better" than the 16/32 cause his PD bar has gone from mostly green to mostly red.

but still very frustration especially considering the game i just had i did enough but that could have gone sideways very easily.


just pickign nits at this point im just happy to have a win. maybe now youll take notice of my roster :P

odd thing last time i started this well was 2017 when i played, in order denver, s maryland, waco, ohio valley, and LA and this years start has been denver, gainsville, waco, ohio valley and now LA

in fact its pretty much the same schedule LOL i hope i have similar results

tough game closer than the score indicated actually, bith teams seem to have gone to the 46 (cover 1) defenses. and as i figured the dice rolls mostly went LA's way in the form of 2 missed (49,53) and 1 blocked fg (18yds), i held mccumber in check but Mo Bernstein tore me a new one 8 carries for 112

LA contorled the 1st half but the game turned in the 3rd after scoring a td la fumbled the ensuing kickoff and phoenix scored 4 plays later. scoring 14 points in 1:45.

la got it to 3 but with 2 min to go in the game Tom Skeen lobs a 45 yard bomb to set up will shumways 2nd rushing td.

tough game still too many penalties more importantly had a 71 yard run called back and a 20+ yard pass on holding calls, too many 1st and 10 or more.

skeen throws a pick 6 and he was blitzed all day

offense stalled in the 2nd half

my 28/33 dt tied for league lead in sacks 69/69 isaac andrews has 1 sack and by 1 sack i mean 2 half sacks
